Corrections

If something is wrong, missing, outdated, or unfairly characterized, send the exact detail and the best supporting source.

Send the useful evidence

Point to the exact passage.

Include the story or listing URL, the sentence or field at issue, what should change, and a source we can verify. Choose Correction / update on the local-lead form.

What happens next

  1. The request is checked against the published piece and available evidence.
  2. People directly involved may be contacted when context or verification is needed.
  3. A confirmed factual error is corrected as soon as practical.
  4. A material correction receives a visible note; minor spelling, formatting, or routine listing updates may not.

A disagreement with an opinion or score is not automatically a factual error. New evidence and meaningful context are still welcome and will be considered on their merits.
